Petalingstreet.org, officially called Project Petaling Street (PPS) was a blog aggregator where bloggers can “ping” their latest blog posts to petalingstreet.org and get their post listed in the site. It worked very well for both bloggers and readers. Readers will always find new things to read almost every few minutes and bloggers get lots of traffic from PPS. I won’t deny it, I used to get up to a few hundred hits from PPS even when I post something lame.
However, the good times didn’t last. The website was bought over by MenJ and he turned petalingstreet.org into an advertisement paradise. Since then, most bloggers’ posts were monitored and censored and almost every bloggers were upset by his extremist attitude. There were movement to ban the usage of PPS and that was about the time I stopped visiting PPS as well. I didn’t really care if they banned my posts there or not as I had an automated ping plugin which helped me to post all my latest posts to PPS at that time.
Today, as I was running out of things to read, I paid a visit to PPS just to see how it has become lately. I was surprised to see this:
I guess it was to happen sooner or later since no one will support any party who suppress freedom of speech.
Well, I guess that idiot kinda figured out that just buying a high traffic site and posting ads all over the site doesn’t really help you to make money.
Anyway, I guess Ah Mike beat me to it posting about this.

Surely, those who care about freedom of speech should have left that aggregator long ago.
He’s such an ignorant who uses the aggregator to his own religious will and benefits. Totally in contrast of the core purpose of PPS.
I know some high profile bloggers who had paid some good money for ad spots there. Well, congratulations on funding his wicked cause
hahaha look at his twitter excuse!

Decided to suspend PPS for a week in order to stabilise the server. PPS will be back after that.
PPS system causing issues with CPU resources. Suspending it in order to stop it from crashing the server.
It’s how he does things. People will usually redirect to a simple HTML page for temporary disabling the scripts. Not suspending the account.
Then again, suspension looks more suitable for his account.
More like he’s suspended by the ISP because there’s DDOS on them. His scripts must’ve been compromised or ISP would rather suspend his account than host it and risk other sites compromised/ddos.
Seems that all you idiots do is to spread nasty rumours and making lies about me. Just because you don’t like my ownership of PPS doesn’t give you the right to make up stories about things you know nothing about. Here is the official clarification of what really happened.
1. I have never censored or banned anyone from PPS.
2. The screenshot you posted above was dated back to a period when PPS was affecting the server it was hosted on due to the MT system exceeding its CPU resource. The hosting provider suspended PPS because of that.
3. PPS has undergone a direct changeover now and it is now back on its feet.
I dare you to publish this comment on your site so that people can easily see the lying, nasty, rumour-monger you are. If you want to return to PPS and use its service, you will not be censored but I prefer to never see your blog on PPS ever again.
