Parking in PISA during PC Fair. Don’t be STUPID

Events are usually the only time PISA will fully utilize their car park space. Even if PISA becomes a venue for an Olympics event, I don’t think the car park will ever be full.

Anyway, there are 3 different car parks in PISA. Outdoor, Multi-story and Basement. Out of the 3 car parks, the basement car park has got to be the the car park with the most pillars in the whole of Penang. So there, you’ll find people simply parking their cars wherever there’s a “hole” which their car can fit into without considering if they’ll be blocking anyone or even themselves.

So today, I parked normally in one of the parking lot at the basement car park. There was already a car inside which could not get out after I park but since he himself is parking at the wrong spot and the other car blocking him was also at wrong, I didn’t care. I paid for parking, I found my own spot, and it’s a legal parking spot.

What do I get after walking for 1 hour? An announcement from the PA system that my car was blocking the TRAFFIC! What a load of crap! They expect the one following all the rules laid out by the building management to make way for those who are at wrong?

I moved my car anyway. I didn’t mind since it was time for me to go back to the office anyway. When I arrived at my car, there was no one there standing by their car. The car which was blocked is still there and no one standing by their car to get out. So I just drove away… And someone else parked back at my spot blocking that car again…

MUAHAHAHA!!! Now I would have loved to stay and look at the guy’s expression when he comes back to see another car blocking his way and will have to go back to the announcer to make another announcement. Hehe…

Thanks for the heads up for PC Fair goers. I’ll be taking the outdoor carpark tomorrow. So damn scary with so many cars there.
